Laminate Flooring
Laminate flooring is a multi layered synthetic product,fused together with a lamination process. These materials are usually comprised of melamine resin and bonded together by formaldehyde during the lamination process. Usually made up from 4 different layers the bottom layer being the stabilizing layer the middle being the high density fibreboared (HDF) core layer then comes a decorative paper and finished of with a top layer of melamine resin or wax coating which makes it highly wear resistant to scratches, burns, dents, stains etc. It has the advantage that it is durable, as compared with carpet, and attractive, at a lower cost as compared to other floorings.

Laminate flooring are available in the following wood species.
 
Black Wenge, Ebony, Real Walnut, Chessnut, Antique Padauk, Congo Sapeli, Altai Teak, Smoked Pine, Dyed Oak and New Zealand Pine.
